The Nintendo 3DS

This page is for waxing poetic about the console and its built-in features, such as the camera and streetpass. I play WAY too many DS games to fit them all on one page! For games and downloadable apps, follow these buttons to their subpages!

They say a person's first video game console ends up being their favorite. Or maybe they don't! That just sounded like a good hook, and I personally was soul-bonded to my Nintendo 3DS at the ripe age of eight. She goes wherever I go - trips, concerts, conventions, even just to the store sometimes - and captures some of my favorite moments in the charming way only a 2011 handheld gaming console's camera can. I have a habit of doing things on the 3DS just because I can; drawing, animating, watching videos (okay, not anymore on that front - rip 3DS YouTube app), even surfing the web!

A png of this site open on my Nintendo 3DS. The site is horrifically broken - the navigational bar is warped and combined with the chatbox widget, the dark blue background of them taking up most of the screen's space. The imood widget overlaps them, adding a thin and tall purple box with the image not loading. The navigational bar's home, about, art, and worlds buttons can be seen, overlapping with both the 'Come say hi!' text titling the chatbox on the right and the imood widget's 'Clover is feeling...' text and divider on the left. A black divider floats in the top left of the site - this screenshot was taken on a build where the header image still had a black divider behind it for visualizing purposes. Though this image is slightly outdated because of that, the current desktop build does not look any better. The top screen of the 3DS displays a communication error banner at the top.

...I never said surfing the web went well. This site is also particularly bad on the 3DS.

All that to say, I love the 3DS, man. It was my first real taste of technology, and even today, I'm amazed by the things it was capable of at the time. Join me below on a journey through the wonderful built-in features of the Nintendo 3DS, or take ths button back up to the subpage buttons to hear about games!
